Post-treatment aftercare
After your treatment, avoid sun exposure and apply SPF.
Use gentle skincare products and avoid harsh exfoliants for a few days.
Keep the skin hydrated and moisturised to enhance the healing process.
It is best to avoid applying makeup for at least 24 hours after your treatment. Your skin may feel more sensitive, and makeup could clog your pores or cause irritation.
For 24-48 hours, avoid hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, or intense exercise. Heat can increase inflammation and make your skin more sensitive.
It is normal to experience mild redness, flaking, or peeling 1-2 days after the peel, but this should be very mild. Do not pick or peel your skin, as this can cause scarring or irritation. Let the skin shed naturally. If you are using ZO products, your exfoliating polish can help with this.
