About DR. LOUISE
Having always had a love and appreciation for good skin, Kins founder Dr Louise Smyth was always looking for a way to combine this with her Medical training.
Louise herself has always enjoyed maintaining a proactive and preventative skincare routine.
Training and ultimately working as a GP, Louise was in direct contact with patients doing regular dermatology consultations. This led her to obtain a Dermatology diploma, invaluable for identifying and treating medical dermatological issues.
Now, over ten years on, Louise has finally created her own authentic, premium skin clinic with treatments performed to the highest standard. Along with treating medical skin conditions like acne, she now focuses on healthy skin and anti-ageing for the general population.
Having studied medical grade skincare, Louise has mastered techniques like Micro-needling, Chemical Peels and the use of Lasers and Light Therapy as well as training in Botox and Dermal Fillers. Her passion is to create awareness about proper skin care and encourage a move away from quick fix aesthetics that have been prolific since the advent of social media and reality television - particularly among younger generations.
Education plays a key role in what Louise aims to do with Kins, informing patients about the difference between over the counter cosmetic products and medical cosmeceutical products. Your skin is one of your most valuable assets being essential to a healthy and happy appearance. Louise feels strongly that investment in your skin will reap long term aesthetic rewards.
